The Griffin women's tennis team closed out their Florida trip with a match with Cedarville on Wednesday afternoon looking for a perfect Florida trip.
Seton Hill was able to cap off a perfect Florida trip with a 4-3 victory over Cedarville. SHU is now 6-3 overall.
Cedarville was able to pick up the one doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches. The #1 doubles team of
Jenna Bailey and
Kaelyn Zak won their match by a 6-4 score.
The Griffins were able to take the match by winning four of the six singles matches. Zak won at number one singles by a 7-6 (5), 6-2 score.
Cameron Beer battled back after dropping the first set to win at number two doubles in three sets.
Abby Herman tied the match at three with a 7-6 (5), 6-1 win.
Marlayna Verenna closed out the win with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
SHU will next play on March 14th against Frostburg State.
