Seton Hill continued their Florida trip with a match under the lights against Christian Brothers on Tuesday evening.
The Griffins dropeed two of the three doubles matches but won four of the six singles matches for a 4-3 win. SHU has now won all three matches in Florida and is 5-3 on the season.
SHU's doubles team of
Kaelyn Zak and
Jenna Bailey earned the one doubles win with a 6-4 win at number one doubles.
They won the match with four singles wins. Zak won at number one by the score of 6-1, 6-4.
Cameron Beer won at number two singles 6-3, 1-0 (ret). Bailey dropped the first set 6-3 before winning 6-4 and 11-9 in the tiebreaker.
Marlayna Verenna closed out the match with a 6-2, 6-0 win.
SHU will close out their Florida trip on Wednesday with a matchup with Cedarville.
