• The Griffin's hung tough in a first half that saw three ties and three lead changes. Nathan Davis scored 13 points in the half, including two free throws that cut the lead to just two, 26-24, before a layup with just four seconds remaining in the half by Mercyhurst's Nicholas Lang put the visitors up by four, 28-24, going into the break. Merychurst would expand on that lead to 15, 43-28, by the 12:58 mark of the second half, but SHU would respond with 9-0 run to cut the deficit to just six, 43-37, with 9:10 remaining.
