GREENSBURG - The Seton Hill University men's basketball team fell to Edinboro, 85-80, in the 2019-20 season finale on Saturday afternoon inside the McKenna Center.
// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill finished the 19-20 campaign with a record of 4-22 overall, 3-19 in the PSAC.
• ESU improves to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the PSAC.
• Nathan Davis led the Griffins with 25 points (20 in the second half) and eight rebounds. Drew Green scored 16 points, Chimaobi Ezekwesili scored 12, and Tommy Sekunda had 10 points to round out the double digit scorers for SHU.
• Edinboro was led by Anthony Coleman's game-high 39 points. Boro's Trey Staunch scored 25 points while grabbing 20 rebounds.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• Down 53-33 early in the second half, the Griffins go on a 33-15 run over a span of just over 10 minutes to pull to within just two points, 68-66, with 7:23 remaining in the game. After Edinboro pushed the lead back out to eight, 78-70, with 2:59 to play, the Griffins would go on an 8-2 run to make it 80-78 with just 19 seconds remaining. However, Seton Hill would get no closer and Edinboro would hold on for the 85-80 win.
