The tennis team opened their spring season with a matchup with Indiana (PA) on Saturday afternoon.

The Crimson Hawks defeated the Griffins by a 7-0 score.  SHU falls to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in PSAC action. 

The doubles team of Kaelyn Zak and Jenna Bailey won their match by a 7-5 score but IUP took the other two doubles matches to pick up the one doubles point. 

IUP took all six of the singles matches.  Zak dropped a tough match in her singles match.  She won the first set 6-4 before dropping the second set 6-3 and then falling in the tiebreaker 10-7.

SHU will now be off until they head to Orlando for four matches over spring break.
