The Griffin wrestling team made the long trip across the state to East Stroudsburg for a PSAC Dual on Tuesday evening.
Seton Hill won eight of the ten matches and made the long trip worth while as they rolled to a 31-10 victory over the Warriors. SHU is now winners of four in a row and 8-5 overall and 5-2 in PSAC Duals.
SHU picked up six points off the start when
Frank Bonura won by forfeit at 125 pounds in the first match of the evening.
Vincent Distefanis followed with a 7-1 decision victory at 133 pounds to give SHU a 9-0 lead after two matches.
Joel Cawoski picked up a 6-1 win by decision at 141 pounds as SHU opened the match with three wins.
Austin Shaw continued his spectacular season with a win by pinfall with 25 seconds to go in the first period of his match. SHU led 18-0 after four matches.
Logan McKoy followed with a 17-7 major decision win at 157 pounds to run the SHU winning streak to five.
Alec Shaw earned a wild 13-9 decision win at 165 pounds to push the SHU advantage to 25-0 with four matches remaining.
After the Griffins dropped the next two matches, they closed out the match with two wins by decision.
Billy Bowlen won by an 8-5 score at 197 pounds and
Jake Shaffer won by a 7-3 score in the final match of the night.
SHU will return to the mats on Sunday when they travel to West Liberty for a 2 PM dual.
