The Griffins made the trip to the middle of the state to meet Shippensburg in a PSAC Dual match on Wednesday evening.
Seton Hill won eight of the ten matches including three by fall in route to a 36-6 win over the Raiders. SHU is now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in PSAC Duals.
Seton Hill jumped out to a quick 18-0 lead after three matches using a forfeit and then two pins.
Frank Bonura earned a win by forfeit at 125 pounds.
Alan Diltz earned a win by fall twenty eight seconds into the third period of his match at 133 pounds.
Joel Cawoski then followed with a win by fall at 141 pounds to give SHU the early advantage.
Austin Shaw recorded a late takedown and used the riding time point to send the 149 pound match into overtime tied at seven but a controversial takedown call in overtime gave the Raiders the 9-7 win in the match.
After a loss at 157 pounds,
Sean Hoover got a win by decision at 165 pounds. His 4-1 win gave SHU a 21-6 lead after six matches.
Brandon Matthews followed with a commanding 5-0 win at 174 pounds to increase the SHU lead to 24-6.
Joey Romjue overcame an early deficit to get a win by pinfall with four seconds to go in the second period at 184 pounds to push the SHU lead to 30-6.
Billy Bowlen followed with an 8-3 win at 197 pounds.
Jake Beistel ended the match with a 3-1 overtime victory at 285 pounds.
The Griffins will head to Louisville, Kentucky for the NWCA National Duals beginning on Friday. SHU will meet UW-Parkside at 9 AM on Friday in their first match of the duals.
