Seton Hill continued their nonconference play before the start of PSAC play with a home matchup with Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday afternoon.
SHU came back with a late first half goal to tie the score at one but Alderson Broaddus scored early in the second half for a 2-1 win. SHU drops to 3-2 overall and AB improves to 1-2-1.
Alderson Broaddus took advantage of a free kick to score the first goal in the 19th minute. The Battlers took a free kick and headed the ball to the back post where it was tapped in for the goal. With less than two minutes to play in the half,
Archie Lock scored his fourth goal of the season to tie the score at one. Lock beat two defenders and placed his shot in the lower right hand corner of the net. The teams headed into the half tied at one.
The Battlers scored just 3:11 into the second half on a cross to take a 2-1 lead. Neither team was able to score the rest of the half.
Alex Dysen led the Griffins with 6 shots. Lock added 5 shots.
Austin Iddon finished with 5 saves.
The Griffins will travel to UDC next Wednesday for another nonconference matchup.
