The Griffin tennis team played a pair of PSAC matches on Thursday and Friday afternoon. SHU dropped a 6-1 decision on the road at Mercyhurst on Thursday afternoon then dropped a 6-1 decision at home to Slippery Rock on Friday afternoon. SHU is now 5-10 overall and 2-4 in PSAC action.
On Thursday the Griffins traveled to Westwood Racket Club to take on the Lakers. SHU earned the one doubles point by taking two of the three doubles matches. The team of

Madison DeBone won their doubles match by a 6-1 score.
Kaitlyn Walch and
Ana Salazar won a hard fought 7-6 (7-5) tiebreaker to earn the Griffins the one doubles point.
On Friday the Griffins hosted Slippery Rock in another PSAC match. Slippery Rock took two of the three doubles matches to earn the one doubles point. The doubles team of Beer and DeBone won their match by a 6-3 score.
Beer also won her singles match by the score of 1-6, 6-2, 10-4. DeBone lost a tough three set match 5-7, 7-5, 10-7.
SHU will head to Edinboro on Wednesday afternoon for another PSAC match.
