Seton Hill made the long trip up I-79 to Erie looking to extend its winning streak to five games after a PSAC contest with Mercyhurst. The Lakers ended the Griffins winning streak with a 13-10 victory on Wednesday afternoon. SHU drops to 7-6 overall and 5-3 in PSAC play while the Lakers improve to 7-5 overall and 4-3 in PSAC play.
Jaclyn Frank got the Griffins on the scoreboard just 51 seconds into the contest. Mercyhurst responded with two goals to take a 2-1 lead. Three straight goals from the Griffins gave them a 4-2 lead less than seven minutes into the first half.

Mercyhurst tied the game at four before
Keagan Pontious put SHU back in front 5-4 with 15:25 to play. After another Laker goal,
Katelyn Cressman put the Griffins in front 6-5 with 7:52 left before the half. The Lakers tied the score at six heading to the halftime break.
Kilduff opened the scoring in the second half, putting SHU back in front 7-6. The Lakers answered with the next four goals as they kept the Griffins off the scoreboard for over ten minutes taking a 10-7 lead.
Goals from Kilduff and Cressman trimmed the lead to 10-9 with 13:55 to play in the second half. Just thirty seconds later the Lakers responded to push the lead back to two. Two more from the Lakers over a two minute stretch put the game away.
Kilduff led the Griffins with 3 goals. Cressman and Frank each scored twice with Frank adding an assist.
SHU will head back to Erie next Tuesday afternoon when they take on Gannon in a PSAC contest.
