The Griffins ended their weekend of tennis with a non conference matchup with West Liberty on Sunday afternoon. SHU dropped a tough 4-3 decision to the Hilltoppers. The Griffins are now 5-8 on the season.
West Liberty took the one doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches. The Griffins doubles team of
Kaelyn Zak and
Cameron Beer won by a 6-3 score.
Madison DeBone and
Ana Salazar dropped a tough 6-4 decision.
Kaitlyn Walch and
Marlayna Verenna fell by a 6-2 score.
Seton Hill and the Hilltoppers split the singles matches. Zak won at number one by a 6-2, 6-0 score. Beer took her match by a 6-3, 6-2 score.
Abby Herman won by a 6-4, 6-0 score for the three Griffin wins.
SHU will return to PSAC play on April 18th when they travel to Mercyhurst.
