SHU Wraps Up 2019 Campaign With Win Over UPJ

JOHNSTOWN, PA. - Sophomore David Conely (Bethel Park, PA, Bethel Park) scored his first goal of the season in a 1-0 win over Pitt-Johnstown in the final match of the 2019 campaign.

// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill finished the season with an overall record of 7-10-1, 3-6-1 in the PSAC.
• Austin Iddon (Jeannette, PA, Penn Trafford) grabbed four saves in his final performance in the net for SHU.
• SHU had a season-high 15 shots on goal.
• Seton Hill has not lost to the Mountain Cats since the series started in October of 2012 (8-0-1).

// HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Griffins pelted the net for 16 shots in the first and another 10 in the second for a total of 26 shots (15 on-goal), but all it needed was David Conley's shot from the top middle of the box in the 14th minute to propel them past the Mountain Cats in the 2019 finale.
