The Seton Hill University Women's Equestrian team competed in their second show of the season, hosted by Seton Hill University at their home barn Bloomfield Stables in Belle Vernon, PA. Many of the team's riders competed today. Individual places for all of the SHU riders are as follows:Â

Olivia Theodor (Senior): 2nd Open Flat, 2nd Open Fences
Summer Black (Junior): 1st Intermediate Flat, 3rd Intermediate Fences
Kaitlyn Krueger (Sophomore): 6th Intermediate Flat, 2nd Limit Fences
Carrie Hood (Senior): 2nd Limit Flat
Kasey Beres (Freshman): 4th Limit Fences
Jessica Confer (Sophomore): 6th Limit Flat
Margaret Hanlon (Sophomore): 3rd Novice
Rose Grover (Freshman): 1st Pre-Novice Flat
Paige Horwatt (Junior): 1st Introductory Flat
Katherine Muise (Freshman): 3rd Introductory Flat
Macey Marks (Alumnus): 2nd Alumni Flat, 2nd Alumni Fences

Also, with her 1st place finish, Junior Paige Horwatt pointed out of the Introductory Flat class and into the Pre-Novice class. She also qualified to compete at regionals in the Introductory Flat class individually.

In total, the team earned 37 points at the show and are now first in the Region. The team is very encouraged and proud of how well we performed at our home show, and can't wait to continue competing next week on Sunday, October 13th, at Bethany College in West Virginia.
