Seton Hill hosted Bloomsburg in PSAC action on Saturday morning.
The Griffins played hard but the Huskies scored in the second and fourth quarters for a 2-0 victory over the Griffins.
The teams started off the contest slowly with neither team mustering much offense in the first quarter. The Huskies and the Griffins played the first quarter scoreless with Bloomsburg holding a 2-0 lead in shots.
Just over five minutes into the second period, the Huskies took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins.
Emma Jorgensen finished with five saves in the first half.
The game remained 1-0 after three quarters of play. Jorgensen made four saves in cage to keep the game at 1-0.
Bloomsburg increased the lead to 2-0 just 34 seconds into the fourth quarter.
Jorgensen ended the game with 12 saves. Both
Kaylie Melnick and
Zyah Newsome each registered a shot on goal for the Griffins.
The Griffins will travel to Shippensburg on Tuesday afternoon.
