The Seton Hill University Women's Equestrian team competed in their third show of the season, hosted by Bethany College in Wheeling, WV. Many of the team's riders competed today. Individual places for all of the SHU riders are as follows:Â
Alexis Kupic (Senior): 1st Open Flat, 3rd Open Fences
Olivia Theodor (Senior): 6th Open Fences
Kaitlyn Krueger (Sophomore): 2nd Intermediate Fences
Summer Black (Junior): 4th Intermediate Flat, 1st Intermediate Fences
Kasey Beres (Freshman): 2nd Limit Flat, 1st Limit Fences
Jessica Confer (Sophomore): 1st Limit Flat, 5th Limit Fences
Margaret Hanlon (Sophomore): 6th Novice Flat
Arina Witt (Freshman): 2nd Novice Flat
Rose Grover (Freshman): 4th Pre-Novice Flat
Kylie Moffat (Junior): 4th Introductory Flat
Samantha Zajdel (Alumnus): 6th Alumni Flat, 2nd Alumni Fences
Also, with her 1st place in Limit Fences and her 2nd place in Limit Flat, Freshman Kasey Beres tied for High Point Rider.
In total, the team earned 36 points and tied for High Point Team of the show with Slippery Rock University. The team is very encouraged and proud of how well we performed at our home show, and can't wait to continue competing next week on Sunday, October 20, at Slippery Rock University.
