Seton Hill kicked off Homecoming Saturday with a matchup with #1 East Stroudsburg. The top ranked Warriors scored three times in each half in route to a 6-0 victory over the Griffins. SHU is now 0-6 on the season while the Warriors improve to 5-1 on the season.
The Griffins were able to keep the Warriors off the scoreboard for the first 25 minutes of the contest thanks to keeper
Emma Jorgensen who made a few spectacular saves in cage for the Griffins to keep the game scoreless. The Warriors cracked the scoreboard in the 26th minute. The added goals in the 28th and 33rd minutes to take a 3-0 halftime lead. Jorgensen finished with 15 saves in the half.
Just over three minutes into the second half the Warriors increased their lead to 4-0. The added a goal in the 47th minute and one with just over three minutes to play in route to the 6-0 win.
Elizabeth Armbruster added 3 saves in cage in the second half.
The Griffins will host Kutztown next Saturday at 11 AM.
