Seton Hill advances to it's third PSAC Semifinal in the past six seasons as they battled Millersville at West Chester on Friday afternoon. Millersville scored once in each half to knock the Griffins out of the tournament with a 2-0 win. SHU ends the season with a 7-5-7 overall record.
The Marauders took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute on a goal off a cross in front of the Griffin keeper. Millersville carried that 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Millersville held a 9-5 advantage in shots while the Griffins led 3-2 in corners.
Millersville added to their lead in the 62nd minute. They were able to get to the end line and sent a pass across the box to a wide open Marauder who found the back of the net for the 2-0 lead.
Millersville finished with a 21-11 advantage in shots. The Griffins led with seven corners to four for the Marauders.
Austin Iddon finished with eight saves in net.
Archie Lock led the Griffins with five shots, three on goal.
Tormod Staal Simonsen added two shots on goal.
