// INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Griffins did have the opportunity to strike first when a through-pass skated past the Marauder defenders and gave Zyah Newsome a one-on-one with the goalie. Newsome's shot went just wide, but could have set the pace early in a game that looked more evenly matched that it did on paper. Millersville's Asia Weaver was the one that broke the scoreless tie, deflecting a high shot into the back of the net in the 28th minute to give the Marauders a 1-0 advantage. Erica Tarsi got her own rebound in the 30th minute and scored to put Millersville ahead 2-0.
• Seton Hill showed fight in the second half, earning a penalty corner in the 46th minute that set up a chance for Erin Bronico to cut the lead in half only to see her shot go wide of the goal. Caitlin Bray's shot in the 53rd minute also went wide.
