Seton Hill continued their play on the road as they made the short trip to Indiana, PA on Wednesday night. Indiana scored five times on their first six shots in route to a 6-0 win. The Griffins drop to 1-2 on the season.
The Crimson Hawks got on the scoreboard first, just 1:32 into the contest to take an early 1-0 lead. IUP scored on its next three shots to increase their lead to 4-0 with 20:49 to play in the half.
Ashley Curnow was credited with a defensive save on the fifth IUP shot to keep them off the scoreboard. The Crimson Hawks put that rebound into the net for a 5-0 lead just 16:29 into the contest. With just under three minutes to play in the half, the Hawks took a 6-0 lead.
IUP held an 8-4 advantage in shots in the first half and just a 5-4 advantage in penalty corners.
The Griffins responded in the second half but could not get on the scoreboard. SHU held a 7-5 advantage in shots and posted 9 penalty corners to just 3 for IUP.

Molly Childress each had four shots for the Griffins in the contest.
SHU will continue their road trip on Saturday when they travel to West Chester.
