WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's soccer team fell in the final game of the 2017 regular season, 1-0, to PSAC-leading West Chester University at Rockwell Field in West Chester.
The Griffins will take an 8-9-1 overall record (5-5-0 PSAC) into the PSAC Tournament. West Chester enters the conference tournament as the overall #1 seed with a record of 13-2-1 and an undefeated and untied 11-0-0 in PSAC play.
Max Adarkwah scored today's only goal in the 68th minute of the match. Seton Hill's
Tom Urquhart had three shots in the match and
Henrik Berg chipped in with two more.
For the match, the Golden Rams had 19 shots compared to eight for Seton Hill. Eleven of WCU's 19 shots were on goal, with six of SHU's eight shots being on net. The two teams were tied on corner kicks with five apiece. Seton Hill standout goalkeeper,
Austin Iddon, grabbed 10 saves in the loss. Matt Palmer had six saves for West Chester.
