EDINBORO, Pa. - The Seton Hill University women's basketball team could not overcome an early deficit and dropped their fourth-straight contest in an 80-67 loss at Edinboro in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday, February 20th.
The loss drops SHU to 13-14 overall and 9-12 in PSAC play. Edinboro improves to 19-8 overall and 14-7 in conference play.
Jenna Kaufman led Seton Hill with game-high 22 pts on 8-of-16 shooting.
Jharrin Gill contributed 12 pts on 5-of-11 from the field. Chrissana Green added 11 pts on a 5-for-5 performance, and
Alexandra Hay came away with 10 pts on 4-of-12 shooting.
Aignee' Freeland paced Edinboro with 22 pts on 11-of-16 from the field. Katie Fischer had 19 pts, and Michelle Jahn added 17 pts on 4-of-13 shooting in the win.
Seton HIll will close out the regular season on Wednesday, February 24th when they welcome Indiana University of Pennsylvania to the McKenna Center. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM.
