GREENSBURG, Pa. - A season-low shooting percentaged stalled the Seton Hill University men's basketball team as the Griffins fell to Mercyhurst in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action on Wednesday evening. SHU shot just 32.0% (16-of-50) to scored a season-low 48 points.
Seton Hill drops to 6-9 overall and 4-7 in PSAC play while Mercyhurst improves to 12-4 on the season and 9-3 in the conference.
The Griffins started off the contest red-hot from the floor.
Noah Davis hit from deep and followed it up by two jumpers as SHU raced out to a 10-2 lead with 15:22 in the first half. However, a 13-2 run by the Lakers gave the visitors the lead with 10:38 remaining and they would never relinquish that lead on their way to the victory.
