Seton Hill closed out its non conference portion of the schedule by hosting #1 West Chester at Dick's Sporting Goods Field on Saturday afternoon. The #1 Rams scored 4 times in the first half and added 2 more goals in the second half for a 6-0 win. SHU drops to 0-5 overall while the Rams improve to 6-0.
West Chester got on the board at the 9:30 mark of the first half. Seven minutes later they made it 2-0. With 15 minutes to play in the half, the Rams increased their lead to 3-0. The Rams made it 4-0 with a penalty stroke goal with 36 seconds left in the first half. The Rams added two more goals in the second half for the 6-0 win.
Alexandra Piekarz recorded 10 saves in net in the loss.
Seton Hill will travel to Mercyhurst on the 23rd to open up PSAC play.
