Box Score Seton Hill took a break from PSAC play on Sunday afternoon as they made the long trip to North Carolina to take on Chowan in a non conference matchup. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the 110 minutes of action and the game ended in a 0-0 tie. SHU is now 2-2-1 on the season while Chowan is 3-1-1.
The Griffins outshot Chowan 6-4 in the first half. Their first four shots were blocked and one went high before
Colin Watson got the Griffins first shot on goal in the 39th minute.
Scott Fox recorded the first shot on goal for the Griffins two minutes into the second half. In the 53rd minute, Chowan received a red card so the Griffins played a man up for the rest of the game but could not score a goal. Chowan held a 15-14 lead in shots at the end of regulation. Neither team was able to get a shot on goal in the first overtime period. Chowan nearly won the game as they hit the post in the 103rd minute. Clint McElhany and
Louis Mason each had shots on goal in the final three minutes but the Chowan keeper was up to the challenge.

Seton Hill will travel to Charleston on Wednesday evening.
