Box Score The Griffins opened the second half of PSAC West play with a road contest at Edinboro on Wednesday evening. Edinboro led for the entire 40 minutes in route to a 77-51 victory. SHU falls to 6-13 overall and 5-10 in PSAC play.
Edinboro scored the first 7 points of the contest before
Damjan Sredanovic hit a jumper for the first Griffin points of the game at the 16:55 mark of the first half. Edinboro built their lead to 13-6 at the under 12 media timeout. The Scots outscored the Griffins 8-2 over the next four minutes to extend their lead to 21-8 at the under 8 media timeout. Edinboro continued to build on its lead and pushed the lead to 20 at 35-15 at the under 4 media timeout. The Scots led 43-21 at the half.
The Griffins were able to cut one point off the Scot lead in the first four minutes of the second half and trailed 51-30 with 15:29 to play. Three straight baskets from Sredanovic and one from
Spencer Casson trimmed the lead to 54-36 at the 11:47 mark of the second half. The Scots built their lead back to 65-39 with 7:55 to play.
Kameron Taylor led the Griffins with 18 points.
Damjan Sredanovic added 11 points.
Seton Hill will continue their road trip on Saturday when they travel to Indiana (PA) on Saturday evening for a 7:30 PM tip.
