Box Score Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill University men's basketball team dropped a close contest to Gannon University 53-51 on Saturday evening at the McKenna Center. The Griffins will fall to 6-12 overall and 5-9 in the PSAC. With the win, Gannon will improve to 12-7 overall and 11-3 in PSAC play.

Both teams played a low scoring, neck-to neck game in the first half. With 9 lead changes, neither team lead by more than 3 points.
Damjan Sredanovic made two free throws with 37 seconds left in the half to tie the game at 24. Next possession, Gannon was able to hit a layup with 5 seconds left to gain back the lead just before halftime.

Seton Hill trailed Gannon by 2 at half time, 26-24.
Kameron Taylor scored team high 7 points at the half with 5 rebounds and one steal.
Spencer Casson netted 4 points with 2 rebounds and 3 blocks in the half.
Late in the second half with the game tied 36-36, Gannon started to pull away from Seton Hill. The Golden Knights gained their largest lead of the evening of 8 points with 5:57 seconds left in the game.

David Windsor hit 2 late three-pointers to gain back the lead for the Griffins. After 8 minutes with out the lead, the Griffins were up 51-50 with only 35 seconds left on the game clock. But Gannon was able to work for an open shot as Girbran Smith hit a three-pointer with 16 seconds left for the Golden Knights. Seton Hill inbounded the ball to Windsor who set himself up for a look at the rim with seconds left on the clock, but was unable to score from behind the arc. Gannon would walk away with a close, 53-51 victory over the Griffins at the McKenna Center.

Taylor scored 16 points and added 2 assists, 2 steals, and 7 rebounds this evening. Windsor hit three field goals and tallied 12 points including 2 assists. Casson finished up with 5 rebounds, 4 points and 5 blocks for the Griffins.

The Seton Hill men's basketball team will travel to Edinboro University on Wednesday, January 28 to take on the Fighting Scots. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
