Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill University men's basketball team will move to 4-10 overall and 3-7 in the PSAC after their 79-57 win over Clarion University on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Griffins lead by 25 points at half time. The Griffins shot 50.0 percent (15-30) in the first half compared to Clarion's 20.0 percent (7-35). Half time score: 42-17. Kameron Taylor hit 15 points on 3 FG's and 9 points from behind the charity strike in the first half. Spencer Casson scored 10 points on 5 FG's with 4 rebounds and 5 blocks.
 
Seton Hill had a dominating performance again in the second half. They shot 48.3 percent (14-29) from the floor and hit 8-11 free throws. The Griffins never lead by less then 18 point in the half as the Golden Eagles struggled to generate the offense they were hoping for. With 11 blocks, 13 steals, and forcing 17 turnovers, Seton Hill played well defensively.  Final score: 79-57.
 
Spencer Casson had a dominating performance with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 blocks against Clarion. Kameron Taylor contributed big numbers today with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Tyler Bowling also joined the double-digit club with 10 points. Also noted was great hustle plays by Damjan Sredanovic. He had 9 points and tallied 6 steals, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists for the afternoon.
 
Seton Hill shot 49.2 (29-59) percent form the floor, and 80.0 percent from the foul line (20-25), and only 6.7 percent (1-15) from behind the 3-point arc.
 
Seton Hill scored 50 points in the paint and 21 points off the bench. The largest lead of the night was Seton Hill by 35 with 12:19 left in the second half.
 
Seton Hill will host Slippery Rock University on Wednesday, January 14 at home. Slippery Rock is 12-4 overall and 7-3 in PSAC play. Game time for Wednesday is 7:30 p.m. at the McKenna Center.
