The Griffin men's soccer team completed an unbeaten weekend at the Shippensburg Tournament with a victory in the battle of the Griffins.  SHU scored twice in the first half to secure a 2-0 victory over Chestnut Hill.  With the victory, the Griffins improve to 1-0-1 on the season.

Seton Hill took a 1-0 lead just over five minutes into the match when Joe Tchimou finished a cross from Trevor Martz to give the Griffins a 1-0 lead.  The Griffins extended their lead to 2-0 with just over 15 minutes to play in the first half.  Rory McKinnon scored his first goal of the season off a feed from Ben Alport.  Cameron Evans recorded the shutout in net, stopping 5 Chestnut Hill shots.  SHU held a 17-12 advantage in shots.

The Griffins return to action when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit on Wednesday evening for a 7 PM match.
