Box Score

The Griffin women's soccer team hosted Slippery Rock in a PSAC contest on Tuesday afternoon.  Seton Hill rallied to tie the score at one but fell in double overtime to the Rock by a 2-1 score.  SHU falls to 4-4-1 overall and 4-3-1 in PSAC play. 

Slippery Rock took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute of the contest on a goal from the top of the penalty box.  Slippery Rock continued to hold that lead into the halftime break.  The Griffins tied the score at one on a strike from Megan Warman in the 69th minute of the contest.  Warman hit the strike from about 25 yards out.  Neither team was able to score the rest of regulation, sending the game into overtime. 

In the first overtime period, Warman had the Griffins only shot just 35 seconds into the ot period but could not beat the Rock keeper.  Slippery Rock then won the contest 3:57 into the second overtime period. 

Seton Hill will travel to California for another PSAC contest on Saturday at 2 PM
