Box Score Seton Hill returned to the court on Saturday afternoon after dropping their first contest of the season at Clarion on Friday night. The Griffins showed no signs of the loss in winning a hard fought five set match at Indiana on Saturday afternoon. With the victory, the Griffins improve to 14-1 overall and 5-1 in PSAC play.
SHU took the first set easily by a 25-12 score. The Griffins jumped out to an early 10-5 lead in the set and continued to pull away as the set progressed. IUP did the same to the Griffins in the second set as they jumped out to a quick 10-5 lead and extended the lead to 15-6 before taking the second set by the score of 25-19. IUP again jumped out to an early lead in the third set as they led 9-5. SHU got back to within two at 22-20 before the Crimson Hawks scored the final three points of the set to take a 2-1 lead with a 25-20 victory. The Griffins responded and took an early 11-7 lead in the fourth set. IUP got back to 22-19 before the Griffins scored the last three points of the fourth set to send the match to five with a 25-19 win. SHU scored 10 out of the first 13 points in the fifth and deciding set to lead 10-3 forcing an IUP timeout. The run continued after the timeout as SHU scored the next four points to extend the lead to 14-3. After two IUP points,
Shelby Kyllo ended the match with a kill.
Shelby Kyllo led the Griffins with 19 kills and 5 blocks. She also added 3 aces.
Corrine Gahagen and
Cassie Hausfeld each added 12 kills. Gahagen also added 6 blocks.
Courtney Field finished with a game high 41 assists and added 4 kills.
Lauren Teed led the Griffins with 16 digs.

Abigail Malsch and Hausfeld each added 12 digs.
The Griffins will continue PSAC West play when they travel to California (PA) on Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
