Edinboro, PA- The Seton Hill University women's soccer team was defeated by Edinboro University on Wednesday night by the score of 2-1. Seton Hill drops to 3-3-1 overall and 3-2-1 in PSAC play.
 
Edinboro started the game with a 2-0 lead with less than 40 minutes played in the first half. Seton Hill's Allison Mello scored the only Griffin goal at 41:30 to bring the score to 2-1 before half time. Breanna Novosel assisted her on the play.
 
The second half remained scoreless, as Edinboro would ride out a 2-1 victory at home.
 
Carolin Edenhofner recorded 5 saves for the Griffins. She now has 20 saves on the season.
 
The Griffins will return to action this Saturday, September 27th as they host Mansfield University at 12:00 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods Field.
