Box Score Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill University women's soccer team starts the season off 2-0-0 with today's win over Clarion University. Novosel, Warman, and McIntosh all contribute for a 3-0 win.
 
The first Seton Hill goal was scored by Breanna Novosel and assisted by Megan Warman. The time of goal came at the 25:20 mark in the first half. Seton Hill controlled the ball most of the game. They out shot their opponent 11-2 in the first half.
 
The Griffins scored their second and third goal at the 75:35 and the 86:03 minute marks during the second half. Megan Warman scored the second Griffin goal on an unassisted, individual effort. The last Griffin goal was scored by Alex McIntosh and assisted by Cayla Walters.
 
Overall the Griffins dominated ball possession with the help of relentless backfield defenders who limited Clarion's offensive possessions. Overall Seton Hill outshot the Golden Eagles 22-2.
 
Both Seton Hill goalkeepers, Carolin Edenhofner and Kayla DiPaolo, saw playing time and recorded an unofficial "shot-out", the Seton Hill defense limited the Golden Eagles' offense by allowing 0 shots on cage.
 
Clarion University goalkeeper Laura Saussol recorded a season high of 11 saves.
