Seton Hill made the long trek north to Erie, PA to battle the Gannon Knights in PSAC West action. The Griffins only scored 15 points in the first half and could not recover in falling 66-53 on the road. SHU falls to 12-8 overall and 4-6 in PSAC West play.
Seton Hill took a quick 5-0 lead on a three pointer from
Oliver McGlade and a basket from
Malachi Leonard. Gannon responded with an 8-0 run to take an 8-5 lead at the under 16 minute media timeout. Gannon pushed their lead to 12-5 at the under 12 media timeout. The Griffins started the game out by hitting their first two field goals but then missed their next eight shots.
David Windsor ended an eight minute scoring drought with a free throw at the 11 minute mark of the first half. The Knights were able to extend their lead to 24-8 at the under eight minute media timeout. Back to back baskets from
Noah Davis and a three pointer from
Zach Herman cut the Gannon lead to 28-15 with 3:19 to play in the half. Gannon scored the last five points of the half to take a 33-15 halftime lead.
The Griffins opened the second half on a 12-4 run to trim the lead to 37-27 with 14:54 left in the half.
Kameron Taylor scored 5 points during the run. Gannon was able to extend their lead to 11 (46-35) at the under 12 media timeout. The Griffins were not able to cut into the Knights lead and trailed 54-39 with 7:54 to play in the half. Back to back threes from

Noah Davis trimmed the lead to 58-47 with 4:33 to play. Gannon was able to put the game away at the free throw line.
Kameron Taylor led the Griffins with 16 points.
Noah Davis was the only other Griffin in double figures with 11 points.
Seton Hill will host Edinboro on Wednesday evening in a PSAC West battle.
