Box Score The Griffins made the trek to Lock Haven for another PSAC Crossover on Saturday afternoon. Lock Haven pulled away late for a 79-65 victory. SHU falls to 2-7 overall and 1-5 in PSAC play.
SHU jumped out to a 5-0 lead on a jumper from
Tyler Bowling and a three pointer from
Zach Herman. After Lock Haven took a lead,
Kameron Taylor gave the Griffins a 12-11 lead with 12:05 to play in the first half. Taylor gave the Griffins their last lead of the contest, 20-19, with a layin at the 6:56 mark of the first half. The Eagles then went on a 9-0 run to take a 28-20 lead. Lock Haven took a 34-26 lead into the halftime break.
After Lock Haven scored the first basket of the second half, SHU answered with an 8-0 run. Taylor and
Nebojsa Stanojevic each scored four points during the run. Lock Haven followed with an 11-1 run to take a 47-35 lead with 14:23 to play in the second half. The Griffins went on another 7-0 run to trim the lead to 59-54 with just over seven minutes to play in the contest but that was as close as the Griffins would get as Lock Haven walked away with a 79-65 win.
Kameron Taylor led the Griffins with 19 points.
Noah Davis added 15 points.
Nebojsa Stanojevic added 14 points and 11 rebounds for a double double.
Seton Hill will travel to LeMoyne on New Year's Eve for a 1 PM tipoff.
