Box Score Seton Hill closed out its regular season road schedule with a matchup at Edinboro on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins clinched a PSAC Tournament berth with a 3-1 victory on the road. With the win, SHU improves to 27-4 overall and 16-4 in PSAC play. The Griffins are currently in third place in the PSAC standings. Clarion leads the PSAC with an 18-2 record. Gannon is a game back with a 17-3 record. California is a game behind the Griffins with a 15-5 record.
Edinboro took the first set by a score of 25-22. Seton Hill responded and tied the match at one with a 25-15 second set win. SHU took a 2-1 lead with a 25-19 win in the third set. The Griffins won the match with a 25-16 fourth set win.
Corrine Gahagen led the Griffins with 16 kills and 6 blocks.
Shelby Kyllo finished with 9 kills and 5 blocks.
Abigail Malsch and
Courtney Field each added 7 kills. Field also finished with a match high 38 assists. Field led the Griffins with 19 digs.
Lauren Teed added 16 digs while
Courtney Oberlander added 12.
Seton Hill will close out the regular season next weekend when they host Mercyhurst on Friday and Gannon on Saturday afternoon.
