Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill men's soccer team defeated Slippery Rock 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Dicks Sporting Goods Field. The Griffins win their second PSAC game of the year improving their conference record to 2-2. Their overall record for the season improves to 5-4-1.

The lone Griffin goal came in the 31st minute in the first half, scored by Seon Ripley from the top of the box and assisted by Joe Tchimou.

The second half remained scoreless while Seton Hill warded off Slippery Rock's 7 shot attempts in the half. The shot totals for the entire game were Slippery Rock 14, Seton Hill 5. Griffin goalkeeper Cameron Evans saved a total of three shots, two of them in the second half to earn his 5th win of the season.

Seton Hill returns to action on Saturday, October 11 at home when they host University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for a conference matchup. The Griffins are looking for their third PSAC win of the season, come out to Dicks Sporting Goods Field to support Griffins soccer.
