The Griffins beat California University of Pennsylvania 4-3 on Saturday, October 4 to earn their first PSAC win this season. Seton Hill's improves their overall record to 4-4-1 and PSAC record to 1-2-0.

th minute tied the game 1-1. At the 33
rd minute, the Vulcans score to gain a 1 goal lead heading into half up 2-1.

Seton Hill went on a three-goal scoring run in the second half. Goals scored by

Jacob Thiel, and
Rory McKinnon garnered a 4-2 lead late in the game. In the 89
th minute California's Chris Hunkele scored for the Vulcans to cut the Griffins lead to just one. In the end, the Griffins pulled away with their first PSAC victory of the season 4-3 over Cal.
