Box Score Seton Hill took a break from PSAC play on Tuesday as they hosted former WVIAC foe Shepherd at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. Shepherd tied the game at one with a late goal but the Griffins got the game winner 19 seconds into the first overtime period for a 2-1 victory. SHU improves to 9-5-2 overall.
The Griffins got on the scoreboard first in the 14th minute of the contest.

Curtis Gallagher with a perfect thru ball and Gallagher beat the keeper with a shot to give the Griffins the 1-0 lead. Seton Hill held the 1-0 lead into halftime break.
Shepherd tied the score at one in the 72nd minute with a rebound goal off a free kick. Neither team was able to score over the last 18 minutes sending the match into overtime. The Griffins wasted little time in the overtime period, netting the game winner just 19 seconds into the overtime period.
Joe Smith dribbled thru the Shepherd defense and found the back of the net to send the Griffins home winners.
Cameron Evans recorded 3 saves in net for the victory.
Seton Hill returns to PSAC play this weekend when they host Millersville on Friday and Shippensburg on Saturday in key games that will determine PSAC playoff seeding. Both games will kick at 3:30 PM. The Griffins are currently in fourth place with 16 points, two points behind third place West Chester and one point ahead of fifth place Slippery Rock.
