Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill men's soccer team beat West Chester University 2-1 in an overtime thriller on Saturday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. Joe Tchimou scored the overtime game-winning goal on a penalty kick to lift the Griffins to an overall record of 8-5-2 and 5-3-1 in PSAC play.
 
Ben Alport scored the first goal of the match to put the Griffins up by one in the first half. The goal came on a free kick after a West Chester foul. Roughly 25 yards away, Ben tucked the ball just under the crossbar for his second goal of the season.  The goal was scored in the 6^th- minute.
 
West Chester was able to tie the game before half time. The goal came in the 28^th-minute on a header off a corner kick.
 
Half time score 1-1. Seton Hill outshot the Golden Rams 7-3 in the first half.
 
The second half remained scoreless. West Chester outshot the Griffins 7-6 in the second half.
 
There were no shots in the first overtime leading to another scoreless period.
 
In the second overtime, West Chester took one shot off a corner kick that was ultimately blocked by a Seton Hill defender.
 
West Chester committed a foul in the 106^th-minute leading to a Seton Hill penalty kick. Joe Tchimou took the shot and scored in the bottom left corner of the net to win the game.
 
Cameron Evans earned his eighth win of the season and recorded 2 saves for the match.
 
Seton Hill will host Shepherd University on Tuesday, October 28. Game time is set for 3:30 pm. Come out to Dick's Sporting Goods Field to support the Griffins.
