Box Score What looked like a promising start to the contest turned out to be a tough finish as the Griffins gave up 41 unanswered points in the second half, after leading 28-17 at the half, at Gannon on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins were defeated by a 58-28 score. SHU is now 2-6 overall and 2-5 in PSAC play.
After Seton Hill went three and out on their first possession, Gannon drove 70 yards in 10 plays and scored on a 25 yard TD pass to take a 7-0 lead. After the teams traded posessions, SHU took over on their own 47 yard line after a Gannon punt. On the next play,

Jarvis McClam with a 53 yard TD pass to tie the score at 7 with 5:23 to play in the first quarter.
On their first possession of the second quarter, they drove 63 yards in 8 plays with
Khalil Howard scoring from one yard out to give SHU a 14-7 lead with 13:33 to play in the second. Gannon tied the score at 14 with a 25 yard TD pass with 7:21 left in the quarter. Jackson then hit
Dylan Everett with a 57 yard TD pass to put the Griffins back in the lead at 21-14 with 5:55 left in the half. The Knights hit a 27 yard field goal on their next possession to trim the lead to 21-17. SHU closed out the scoring in the first half with a three yard Jackson to
Eric Brown touchdown with 8 seconds to play and SHU entered the halftime break with a 28-17 lead.
The second half was all Gannon as they scored 41 straight points. The Knights scored 27 points in the third quarter and closed out the scoring with 14 more in the fourth.
Gannon held an advantage of 35-14 in first downs and outgained the Griffins 691-342.
