SHU Drops Tough One at #5 East Stroudsburg

Box Score

Seton Hill took the long trip to East Stroudsburg to take on the #5 Warriors under the lights on Wednesday evening.  The Griffins gave one of the best teams in the country all they could handle before falling 2-1 on a late goal.  SHU drops to 5-8-2 overall and 5-6-2 in PSAC play.

East Stroudsburg scored the lone goal of the first half off a free kick with less than 8 minutes to play in the half.  Seton Hill tied the score at one with 6:03 to play in the second half on a set piece.  Alex McIntosh headed in a corner from Megan Warman to knot the score at one.  East Stroudsburg did the same thing to score the game winner with 1:37 to play in the half using a header off a corner kick.  SHU held a 12-7 advantage in shots and an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal.  Carolin Edenhofner recorded 2 saves in net.
