Box Score Seton Hill continued PSAC play with a match in Erie against Gannon on Tuesday evening. The Griffins and Knights played 110 minutes with neither team finding the back of the net as the teams played to a 0-0 double overtime tie. SHU is now 6-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in PSAC play.
The Griffins outshot Gannon 6-3 in the first half and held a 5-3 advantage in corners. Neither team scored in the second half as the game went into a first overtime period. SHU had to play the overtime periods a man down after a red card in the 90th minute.
SHU had two great scoring chances in the start of the first overtime period.
Bovey Masiole was stopped point blank on a redirect two minutes into the first overtime period. Two minutes later
Seon Ripley was stopped on a point blank shot by the Gannon keeper. SHU had one last chance in the second overtime period when
Harrison Howes header went high.
Cameron Evans made 2 saves in net.
Seton Hill will host Mercyhurst on Saturday at 3 PM.
