Griffins Drop PSAC Opener at Clarion, 2-0

Box Score The Griffin women's soccer team opened their season with a PSAC contest on the road at Clarion.  The game was the first ever PSAC game for a Seton Hill athletic program.  Seton Hill was not able to find the back of the net and dropped a 2-0 decision.
 
The first half was scoreless.  Clarion took a 1-0 lead with a goal just over three minutes into the second half.  They extended the lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 67th minute.  The Griffins managed 15 shots and 6 shots on goal in the contest.  Bethany Winter made 9 saves in net.
 
Seton Hill will host Indiana (PA) at 3 PM on Saturday afternoon.
