The Griffins dropped their fourth straight contest to open the season after a 43-7 road loss at Edinboro on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins fall to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in PSAC West play.
Edinboro took a 13-0 lead after the first quarter on a touchdown run and pass. They extended the lead to 26-0 at the half with two field goals and a 32 yard touchdown run. Another field goal and TD pass pushed the lead to 36-0 midway thru the third quarter. The Griffins finally got on the scoreboard when
Tim Johnson returned a fumble 23 yards. The Fighting Scots closed out the scoring with a TD run early in the fourth quarter.
The Griffins were outgained 367-116 in total offensive yardage. The Scots had 21 first downs to just 9 for SHU.
Seton Hill will travel to Shippensburg next Saturday.
