The volleyball team closed out its Florida trip at the Lynn University Tournament with a 1-1 day on Saturday.  The Griffins were defeated in 5 games by host Lynn University before defeating UPR-Mayaguez by a 3-1 score in their last game.  The Griffins are now 6-2 on the season.  Corrine Gahagen and Cassie Hausfeld were each named to the Courtyard by Marriott Boca Raton Invitational All-Tournament Team.

The Griffins took the first set from Lynn by the score of 25-22.  Lynn responded with a 25-10 victory to even the match and took a 2-1 lead with a 25-21 win.  SHU kept the match alive with a 25-22 victory in the fourth set.  Lynn won the match with a 15-13 fifth set win.  Corrine Gahagen led the Griffins with 16 kills.  Cassie Hausfeld added 11.  Courtney Field had 40 assists and Lauren Teed led the team with 17 digs.

Seton Hill took the first two sets by the score of 25-15 over UPR-Mayaguez.  Mayaguez stayed alive with a 25-22 win before the Griffins closed out the match with a 25-17 victory.  Cassie Hausfield led the team with 15 kills.  Corrine Gahagen added 9.  Courtney Field had 21 assists while Kelsey Profio added 15.  Katie Bloomgren led with 11 digs. 

The Griffins will be in action in the Davis & Elkins Tournament next weekend.
