After winning nine in a row, the Griffin volleyball team finds themselves in a losing streak as they dropped their second straight contest on Saturday afternoon.  The Griffins looked good taking the first two sets but could not win the third and fell in five sets to Indiana (PA) in PSAC West action.  With the loss, the Griffins fall to 24-7 overall and 12-5 in PSAC play. 

Seton Hill took the first set by a 25-18 score and followed that up with a 25-22 victory in the second set to take a 2-0 lead.  IUP led for most of the third set and stayed alive with a 26-24 victory in the third set.  IUP used an 8-0 run in the fourth set and hung on for a 26-24 victory in the fourth set to force a fifth and deciding set.  IUP took advantage of 9 Griffin hitting errors in the fifth set and closed out the Griffins with a 15-4 win in the fifth.

Corrine Gahagen, Abigail Malsch and Cassie Hausfeld each recorded 11 kills in the victory.  Gahagen also added 4 blocks.  Shelby Kyllo followed with 9 killsand 3 blocks.  Courtney Field had 45 assists.  Lauren Teed added a match high 48 digs.

Seton Hill will travel to California (PA) for a match on Tuesday evening.
