The Griffin volleybal team took a break from PSAC play on Tuesday evening and traveled to Buckhannon, WV to battle former WVIAC foe and current Mountain East member WV Wesleyan. Seton Hill was able to continue its winning ways as they defeated WV Wesleyan by a 3-1 margin. The win is the team's ninth in their last 10 contest and improves their record to 14-3 on the season.
Seton Hill won a close first set by the score of 25-22. WV Wesleyan came back to tie the match at one with a 25-17 win. The Griffins then closed out the match with 25-17 and 25-18 victories.
Corrine Gahagen again led the Griffins in kills with 13. SHelby Kyllo followed with 9 and
Cassie Hausfeld added 7.
Courtney Field ran the offense with 30 assists.
Lauren Teed had a game high 21 digs with Field adding 13. Gahagen and Kyllo each had 3 blocks.
Seton Hill returns to PSAC play this weekend when they host Indiana (PA) on Friday and Clarion on Saturday.
