Box Score 2 The Seton Hill volleyball team closed out the Grand Valley State Tournament on Saturday afternoon with two matches. The Griffins dropped both of the matches to fall to 4-4 on the season. Barry defeated the Griffins 3-1 and SHU fell to host Grand Valley State by the score of 3-0. Seton Hill took the first set against Barry by a 25-18 score. Barry responded to take the final three sets by the scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-23. Grand Valley won their sets by the scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.
Corrine Gahagen led the Griffins with 12 kills in the Barry match.
Christina Donahoe,
Shelby Kyllo,
Abigail Malsch and
Larissa Santangelo each had 7 kills.
Kelsey Profio led the Griffins with 27 assists.
Lauren Teed had a team high 18 digs. Gahagen added 5 blocks. Kyllo led the squad with 10 kills against Grand Valley. Gahagen added 8. Profio again led with 17 assists and Teed had a team high 13 digs.
The Griffins will return to action next weekend when they travel to the IUP Crossover Tourney. SHU will battle Gannon on Friday evening at 5 PM.
