Griffins Earn 2-0 Win at Clarion

Box Score Seton Hill scored a goal in each half in route to a 2-0 nonconference victory on the road at Clarion on Tuesday evening.  With the victory the Griffins improve to 5-4 on the season while Clarion falls to 1-5-2. 

The Griffins controlled the first half of play, outshooting the Golden Eagles by an 8-2 margin. Seton Hill was able to get on the scoreboard in the game's 21st minute when Katelyn Wiater scored off a feed from Breanna Novosel.  SHU took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.  Novosel then made it 2-0 just 45 seconds into the second half with a goal.  Seton Hill was able to control the play the rest of the half and went home with a 2-0 victory.  Bethany Winter recorded 1 save in net to earn the shutout. 

Seton Hill will battle Urbana on Thursday afternoon at 4 PM.
