Box Score On Saturday the women's soccer team faced the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan at home. Both teams entered the contest with 2-1 WVIAC conference records. The Bobcats were too much for the Griffins to handle as they loss to Wesleyan 2-0.
In the first half Jocelyn Prescott scored at the 10:21 mark giving the Bobcats a 1-0 lead over the Griffins. The Griffins outshot the Bobcats 7-4 in the first half but could not capitalize on their opportunities. Seton Hill entered halftime trailing 1-0.
In second half action both teams were in a deadlock. The Griffins fought to tie the game but were unsuccessful. As the final minute of the game was winding down Aleisha Rees had a free kick for the Bobcats, which ended up in the net with eight seconds left in the game. Seton Hill suffered the 2-0 defeat.
Lauren Peretich recorded 6 saves in the net. With the loss Seton Hill's record stands at 4-4 overall and 2-2 in WVIAC play. Seton Hill will be on the road for their next game against Clarion on September 25, at 7:00PM.
